“NetherlandsNow – Framing the Future” symposium in New York
Evert Klinkenberg joined a panel discussion during the “NetherlandsNow – Framing the Future” symposium in New York. This symposium was organized celebrating the 400th anniversary of the founding of New York City with a day of programming devoted to each century of the city’s life. On this fifth and last day, a perspective is offered of New York in the 21st century with the Framing the Future series of panels, which explores the multiple urban challenges and opportunities ahead. The discussion focused on the role of Dutch architects in addressing contemporary urban challenges and sharing approaches to design and planning across different contexts.
