BETA and KADERSTUDIO win Masuistraat competition

We are very happy to announce that we’ve been chose to design a very special project in Brussels, Belgium.

On the corner of the Masuistraat and the Zennepark, BETA and KADERSTUDIO will transform a former factory building into an intergenerational residential building, combining solidarity and circularity. The jury commends the proposal as follows:

“The project is a great success from an urban perspective, whether it concerns the facade treatment, its scale, access points, choice of materials, or the organization of the communal spaces. The project blends harmoniously into the neighborhood, balancing respect for the past with a modern touch. Spaces such as the launderette and the collective space, which are visible from the public space, contribute to the integration of the neighborhood and reinforce the objective of creating a strong connection with the urban environment.”
