BETA, MVRDV and MTD shortlisted for Citadelpoort competition

We are pleased to announce that MVRDV, BETA and MTD Landschapsarchitecten have been shortlisted for the Citadelpoort design competition in Den Bosch.

The Citadelpoort development aims to transform a traffic-dominated infrastructural zone at the edge of the historic city center, into a new urban gateway combining culture, housing, and public space. Central to the new development is a new home for the Design Museum Den Bosch. Surrounding this cultural anchor, the plan includes a mixed-use housing program with 185 to 200 dwellings (70% affordable), maker-spaces, studios for artists, and an underground parking garage — all embedded in a carefully integrated public realm.
