Mid-rise research stipend

We’re thrilled to announce that the Creative Industries Fund NL has granted BETA a stipend for their upcoming research into mid-rise buildings.

In this latest research BETA will focus on the intermediate scale and how this could be a welcome addition to the palette of inner-city densification schemes. It is a topic we’ve been fascinated with for a long time due to its favorable aspects of combining densification with a focus on the human scale, the experience of the city at eye level and its relationship with the existing urban fabric.

The first leg of this research is expected to be completed by autumn 2024.
