Social Strandeiland breaks ground
Today, on a windswept Strandeiland, two of our social housing buildings broke ground. BETA designed a total of 55 social housing apartments across two buildings for housing corporation Ymere. Unique about the project is how outdoor-living is integrated in expressive yet cost-efficient architecture. We collaborated on the urban plan with studioninedots and Studio Ard Hoksbergen; the landscape is by B+B.
