BETA shortlisted for De Nieuwe Meervaart

We’re delighted to share that we’ve been selected as one of the final five teams in the design competition for De Nieuwe Meervaart in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. The project will create a new cultural heart on the shores of the Sloterplas, combining architecture, public space, and community. We’re excited to continue the journey and develop our vision for this important place in collaboration with our partners NL Architects, KRFT, B+B Landscape Architects, ABT and De Wijde Blik.

The other contenders are:

• SeARCH B.V. (Team: SeARCH – Architects Amsterdam, BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), IMd Raadgevende Ingenieurs)
• Ton Venhoeven Architecten B.V. (Team: VenhoevenCS architecture+urbanism, White Arkitekter, Bureau Buhrs, DS Landschapsarchitecten (Amsterdam), schlaich bergermann partner sbp (SBP), Aveco de Bondt)
